My Favorite Plum (Blog) |

Version 1.0 - Sea Deep
Featuring a Tenshi ni Narumon image of Natsumi, this layout is overloaded
in blue. But it matches the name of the blog.

Version 2.0 - Through and Through the Blue
This is the second layout for my blog, when its name changed from Sea
Deep to Deep Blue while it switched from Pitas to
Blogger. Why is the layout orange/ yellow/ red then, you ask? Let's just
say it's at the other side of the spectrum. I didn't feel like
working with the color blue, for once in my life. I had bad timing.

Version 3.0 - Time is but a Paper Moon
And my blog has changed its name for the final time! It is now and forever to
be known as My Favorite Plum after a Suzanne Vega song. This layout features Yue, my
pizza slave. It also features lyrics from Queen's song, Teo
Toriatte (which is half Japanese/English).

Version 4.0 - Worth $$60 Billion
Vash! XD Who doesn't love the wonder that is Vash? With the coming of
summer and being so sun-deprived in spite of it, I had to make a
layout that was summery. The weather at the time where I lived was miserable. I
love the colors in this layout. They scream! XD

Version 5.0 - Against the Midnight Blue
Featuring Megumi Hayashibara and the English-translated lyrics to Midnight Blue from Slayers. This layout uses very little
color, but is barely tinted a dark blue, contrasting with the Vash one
above.

Version 6.0 - Diamond Dogs
Featuring lyrics from the (original David Bowie) song Diamond Dogs, sung
by Beck from the Moulin Rouge soundtrack, and the anime Weiß Kreuz. The reason I didn't like this
layout is that it was too dark and the top image was too
large, taking up most of the screen.

Version 7.0 - Lost In A Crowd
This layout features the J-rock singer Gackt (yum) and the lyrics from Rusted Root's
song, "Lost In A Crowd," hence the title. I
love the colors and the Gackt image is lovely. XD

Version 8.0 - You Are the Everything
A very interesting layout this was. I was going to throw it away many times as
I was making it, but finally, after editing it a thousand times, I decided
to keep it. First time using a colored scrollbar here, as well as a whole
bunch of new style sheets.

Version 9.0 - Tell Me a Riddle, Tom
Another favorite layout. I love the purple
colors as well as the image of Tom Riddle, from the fourth Harry
Potter book. It's an amazing fan art, and I acquired it from this
site. I used a stained-glass filter for the effect around the
image and the top.

Version 10.0 - Wicked Ways
My favorite layout for my blog to this date. It features Legato
from the series Trigun, the scan taken from Gunshy.
I adore the colors. It's purple but subdued. The manga image
of Legato is amazing. I adore this
layout. The colors are soft, it's got somewhat a dark feel to it
because of the image of Legato, but it's not gloomy. I heart. *_*

Version 11.0 - Love Comes Tumbling Down Again
Guess who the covergirl and coverdog are? It's none other than
myself and my darling Pasha, of course! As version 10.0 was up for literally
months on end, I felt my blog desperately needed a change of surroundings. In
comparison to version 10.0, this layout is simpler and definitely much more
personal.

Version 12.0 - And You Run to Catch up with the Sun
The official fall version of My Favorite Plum. I wanted to get a sense of
falling, which I got with the leaves and the lyrics to Pink Floyd's Time going
horizontally down the page. I'm beginning to center my blog layouts on more
personal things. The leaves used for the background were all taken with my
digital camera, and the main image used is that of my feet and the reflection
of my red umbrella in a puddle as I was walking from school one rainy
afternoon.

Version 13.0 - Put it in Your Heart
Featuring a photograph of myself as a wee baby with two other kids, this
layout was created as a sacrifice to the sun. At the time I put this together,
the sun hadn't shone upon me for almost a whole month -- the weather was that
bad. I was in terrible withdrawal. So I made this layout as a plea for the sun
to come out, and what do ya know! It worked. Spring is here and it's
wonderful, everyone rejoice!
