Vague Inklings

Version 1.0 - Floating Through Time
This site used to be called Shimmer, and this layout was a dark and plain layout, but suiting for the atmosphere. It was the first time I customized my own drawings to incorporate into layouts, so this layout was more of a learning experience than anything stylish.

Version 2.0 - Does That Really Matter?
This layout had a useless intro page before going to the main content, and was probably the only time I've done so.

Version 3.0 - Untitled and Bad
I rushed this since I was trying to get a new layout for the new navigation that I was setting up. It had a lot of empty black space, especially on higher browsers. Bad, bad layout, this was.

Version 4.0 - Angelic Glimmers
This layout isn't dark and I'm glad for that because all the other layouts for Shimmer have been dark and depressing. I'd like to avoid falling into the cliché depressed web designing cycle.

Version 5.0 - Flowers, Anyone?
This layout is quite flowery. The second thumbnail shows the format of the Tips section.

Version 6.0 - I Like Shirtless Men With Wings
I love the title. :P It's very fitting since featured is a drawing of a winged Kurome without a shirt on. I have mixed feelings about this.

Version 7.0 - China Roses
It's a non-drawing oriented layout. Simple, poetic, and I've taken quite a liking to it. With this layout came a huge revamp to the site, so it is now of better quality and of much better organization.

Version 8.0 - Ink Blots

I didn't like this layout. Too much white everywhere.

Version 9.0 - Untitled
This layout introduced many new things to Shimmer. I took out the Doodles section, gave the visitors an option to have links open in a new window, and have thumbnails. I also split up books 1, 2, 3, and 4 into Color and Sketches sections.

Version 10.0 - Vague Inklings
This version marks the change in name for this site. Because I took out a whole bunch of the drawings to focus on the ones that were my best sketches and changed the organization, I decided a name change was also necessary.
